Ten years on the market, a few very minor facelifts, and more special editions than you can count on both fingers and toes. That is the life of the Bugatti Veyron. And now, it’s finally gone.
Celebrating its 450th and final model, Bugatti will put on display the “La Finale” special edition in Geneva alongside the very first Veyron ever built. Bugatti is calling it “an unprecedented chapter in automobile history [that] has reached its climax.” We couldn’t agree more.
“La Speciale” will feature a number of special cues like an open top and a differing color scheme. Of course, like every other Veyron, this one-off will use an 8.0-liter W16 that produces 1,500 horsepower and hits a top speed of 288 mph.
Now that the Veyron is finally off the market, we can really start thinking about its replacement.
