Dodge Challenger Hellcat More Powerful than You Think
Dodge Challenger Hellcat, Stronger Than You Think |
At 707 horsepower, the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is the most powerful muscle car in the world. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. There is one problem though, albeit a very good problem . Thanks to a recent dyno run by Motor Trend at K&N’s test facility, we learn that the Challenger is even more powerful than first thought.
Dyno stats rate it at 635 horsepower and 591 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. Translate that back to the crank factoring in a 12% drivetrain loss, and that equals somewhere near 722 horsepower and 672 lb-ft torque. And we thought 707 was impressive.
